_I have a broken tail light and I've been thinking about putting some tape on it. Is it legal to have the tape on their for long amounts of time. I need to do something about my broken tail light. I just figured having tape on their would be better than having nothing. Is it legal to have tape on your taillight when is a tape I mean that red tape that is made for lights.
