I'm trying to find the air filter on my Chevy impala. I was getting an oil change and they told me that if I did not change air filter soon that I might have problems. I'm sure they were just trying to sell me their service in changing the air filter but I need to know where it is at my Chevy Impala in order to fix it myself to save some money.

I know that I'm supposed to put oil on my air filter but I'm just unsure of how much boil to put on it. I have read online that if you over oil the filter that you're going to lose gas mileage because you can't have the filter Breedwell enough. And if it has to much oil Londente my mass airflow sensor is going to mix it wrong in the carburetor is this true.
