I have a crack in my windshield but I need to have it repaired and not just the entire windshield. Is it possible to repair just a crack in not the entire windshield. It seems a lot easier for me just to repair the crack instead of changing out the entire windshield because that seems more expensive.

There is a rock chip on the outside of my windshield and I need to fix it somehow. I was wondering what type of stuff out there it's used to fix this type of thing in class. Is this something that do-it-yourselfer can do and do it on my own. I'm guessing it's some sort of Apoxsee or was it lays on the glass and that's all I need to do is cover a little rock chicks because the glass has not spidered yet.
