_I'm looking to lower in older Chevy vehicle. It has coiled and am wondering if it's safe to cut them. Or if I should just go buy some lowering coils or springs. I'm really not educated on the coils of the vehicle and what happens if you lower the spring load on them. I need some help on figuring out if I should just cut them and put them back in her if I should install different one that I buy.

The reason I want to lower my car is because I think it would look better and I want to take corners easier. I understand that the ride will be a little more rough and not these good. I'm okay with the fact of that and I still want to lower my car. And I know the only way to lower the car is to have less coil inside of the spring.

I've looked in the different methods of lowering a car and come to the conclusion that I need to lower my car. It doesn't seem that hard and I'm in the love with the idea of doing it. It seems like on the Chevy vehicles that I can cut a coil and still get away with it. Is there any other will idea that I should take into effect when I do this. It seems like the easiest route and the best route for me.

If this is a stupid idea make sure to tell me because I have heard that cutting the coils is kind of a hack way to lower a car. I'm not really sure on this and I'm just really got into the world of modifying cars so I could use some help on this topic.

Also guide on how to cut springs to lower car would be sweet to. Long story short I just need a lot of help on this topic so any help would be appreciated.
