I have a four cylinder motor and my exhaust is leaking. I was wondering if that would make my gas mileage bad. I trully need my gas mileage to be as good as possible because I drive to college everyday and need to get the best I can possibly get. The car is a hyundai elantra. I do have a small leak coming out of exhaust but im not sure if it is enough to reflect my mpgs?

The new exhaust on my car makes it idle at a rougher rate. The exhaust what size up an inch. Another thing is my muffler get so hot that it melts the paint job on my bumper. I do not want to fix this car that much because I have auto car repairing and anything to do with it. Where is the system is not cool at all I do not like it. Padf max hospice to get the motor more release. I went with the off brand flowmaster muffler.

The sound of the exhaust does not sound good at all. Does anybody have an idea on if I can put a muffler on. How hard is it to weld a different muffler on myself. My car has a sweet paint job at the exhaust sound so bad. I want my mazda car does sound good. The car has a dual overhead cam.

My darn muffler fell off and now my car is loud as heck. Im wondering what variables led to my darn muffler to just fall off. One thing about the honda civic when there is no muffler on it, it is very loud and annoying. I want to have it fixed, but also want to know why my other one came off. Not only just came off, but fell off. So I no longer have a muffler. If it would have given me a little warning, this wouldnt of been an issue and I could of just grabbed my old one before it fell off.

Why did this happen?
